*I uninstalled this Printer Driver Software and then Reinstalled it. (This is for 64 bit operating system that I have on the laptop).

I have a Dell Vostro 420 computer running Windows XP Pro, SP3 which is hard wired to a Verizon DSL Gateway Modem/Router.
I then have a Dell Inspiron 17R laptop running Windows 7 Pro and it is Wi Fi connected to the above gateway.
When I uninstalled & then reinstalled the HP Printer & Driver, the HP Printer prints from either computer.
Furthermore, I installed the HP Printer Software for a USB connection on the Dell Vostro computer and I installed the HP Printer software on the Dell Inspiron Laptop for a wireless connection to the HP printer.
Any further suggestions?

HP Customer Participation Program 13 is a stand-alone application that enables you to report system errors and technical issues you are having with your HP printer to the HP software development team. Participation is completely optional, and you can remove the application and still use your HP printer without any problems. Like other Windows applications, HP Customer Participation Program 13 appears within Windows’ “Uninstall a program” utility.
Purpose
HP Customer Participation Program 13 does not disable your printer, or any other piece of hardware, if you remove the application from your computer. The application also doesn’t report to HP when you remove it. HP’s software development team uses any information reported via the application to fix technical problems and develop enhancements to HP applications and utilities. HP Customer Participation Program 13, like previous versions of the application, is not a virus or spyware.
Application Package
HP Customer Participation Program 13 is installed along with your HP printer driver and configuration software. If your HP printer generates an error, the program prompts you to report the error to the HP software development team. If you consent, the error report is sent to the team using your computer’s Internet connection. Sending error information to the software development team is completely optional and doesn’t cost anything.
Removing
To remove HP Customer Participation Program 13, move your computer’s cursor to the upper right-hand corner to open the Windows charm, click “Search” and enter “Control Panel” in the search box. Click “Control Panel” under the Apps heading, and then click “Uninstall a program” under the Programs heading. Scroll down to “HP Customer Participation Program 13” and click the “Uninstall” button. Click “Uninstall” again to confirm and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the process.
Reinstalling
If you reinstall your HP printer’s driver and configuration package, the reinstallation also installs HP Customer Participation Program 13. You must manually remove the application again if you do not want it on your computer. If you reinstall just the HP printer driver and not the entire configuration package, the printer driver itself doesn’t reinstall HP Customer Participation Program 13.
