Hi,

I'm having issues with battery charging and my Windows 7. When booting, the battery is detected in BIOS and charging (charge light is glowing, not blinking). As soon as the computer boots off my HDD and Windows loads, the charge light starts to blink, indicating that the battery is not charging. In Windows, the battery meter displays 'no battery detected' or 'plugged in and not charging'.

Tips for better search results • Ensure correct spelling and spacing - Examples: 'paper jam' • Use product model name: - Examples: laserjet pro p1102, DeskJet 2130 • For HP products a product number. - Examples: LG534UA • For Samsung Print products, enter the M/C or Model Code found on the product label. No Battery Is Detected Vista Hp System

Hi, I'm having issues with battery charging and my Windows 7. When booting, the battery is detected in BIOS and charging (charge light is glowing, not blinking). My Laptop is showing that 'No Battery is detected' on the Power Icon, but the battery is working normally. Some of laptop vendors do not comply with Vista's battery detection. Same problem happens with some of HP laptops. The problem is with your operating system. If this is not a permanent problem and once in a time it displayed.

No Battery Detected Dell

At first I thought my battery was simply getting old, but out of accident I forgot to plug the AC adapter in and the computer ran off the battery for ~1.5h, even though Windows didn't recognise a battery. This still applies, which I haven't found a solution to yet.

Vista

Hp officejet pro 8500 a910 driver. I've tried running the hardware off another Win7 copy and the same thing happens. I haven't had time to try Linux or WinXP yet, since I own neither. I've also tried uninstalling the ACPI Battery Control in the Device Manager, but without success.

Any suggestions would be great, as I haven't found any forum posts similar to this.
