I lost access to my network drive (ethernet). Followed some instruction on varies forum and deleted the 'Client for Microsoft Networks'. After that I can't install the client and still can't access my network drive. After weeks of pulling hair out, rebooting, deleting network interface, etc. I managed to fix it a few minutes ago. I am not sure what fix but here's what I have done:

1. Disable Network interface:

1.1. Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet > Change adapter Options

1.2. Right click on the network interface and hit Disable.

2. Remove 'File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks'

2.1. Right click on the network interface and hit Properties

Microsoft Document Sharing

2.2. Select 'File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks' and hit Uninstall.

3. ReInstall the missing component again (in order):

3.1. Hit Install, select Client > 'Client for Microsoft Networks', Hit ok.

3.2. Hit Install, select Service > 'File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks', Hit ok.

3.3. Hit Ok.

4. ReEnable the network interface:

4.1. Right click on the network interface and hit Enable.

Not sure if you need to Reboot, but I did.

Before step 1, I have also change remove PIN (fallback to Password).

Now, I can see my network drive again.

Not sure it will help anyone, but something is better than nothing. If it works for you, may be clean up the instruction above.
